How long does it take to set-up an account?
Once we have the completed paperwork, standard approval time is 24-hours.
Do I need a business checking account?
If your business operates as a corporation, yes, a business account is required. If your business is a sole proprietorship or partnership, the only requirement is that the individual or partners' name(s) must be on the check. You can use any bank of your choice.
How do I get paid?
Credit card sales are deposited directly into your checking account.
When are my funds available?
1-2 business days, this is standard for all processors.
Will my business name appear on the customer's statement?
Yes, your customer will see your business name on their monthly credit card statement. Key-in merchants can also have their business phone number appear on the customer's statement.
Can I also accept American Express and Discover Card?
Paynet Systems will include American Express and Discover Card applications with your paperwork. Upon approval, we will internally activate the account. All you do is sign the forms. The discount fee will vary depending on business type and average sale amount. The discount fee associated with accepting these cards will be the same regardless of whom you choose as your service provider.
Do you require reserves?
Only in rare cases in which an account is deemed to be very high-risk is a reserve required. In such a case, a percentage of all sales would be held until the set reserve amount has been reached.
Does my business need to be located in the United Sates?
Yes, we can only work with businesses that are located in the United States . An American social security number is also required.
Do you charge a cancellation fee?
No, Paynet System's is so confident you'll remain a satisfied customer; you are free to cancel your Credit Card Processing Agreement, any time, penalty free.
